Our Summer Fayre Success

Our Summer Fayre was a wonderful day, full of music, laughter and friendly faces. Events like this mean so much to us and our residents.

The day began with a warm welcome from Wendy Chamberlain, MP for North East Fife, who spent time chatting with residents and families. We also had a range of special guests, from Pauline at Specsavers, who ran an information table and answered questions from families, to William Jordan & Son, who showcased their wonderful Pianola, and Linda Small, who shared her beautiful needle felting and pebble art. It was lovely to see so many residents and visitors chatting, smiling and enjoying it all.

There was plenty to enjoy around the home. Residents and families browsed the stalls, tried their luck on the raffle and caught up over a cuppa.

Our raffle featured lovely hampers from Specsavers, Kettle Produce and Quaker Oats, along with vouchers from Fisher & Donaldson, Pam Smith Hairdressers and Luvians, who kindly provided ice cream treats. 

The highlight of the afternoon was our entertainment from Nichola Jane, whose fantastic singing had our residents dancing along and joining in. Seeing so many residents laugh and sing reminds us why events like these matter, and we are already looking forward to welcoming Nichola back for our Christmas Fayre!

Together, we raised an amazing £458.90 for our Residents' Comfort Fund. This will help us provide additional activities, outings and special experiences for our residents, and keep making happy memories together. A huge thank you to everyone who came along and supported us.

Seeing family, friends and neighbours reminds them that they are part of a lively, caring community, and that connection is so important for their happiness and wellbeing. Music, conversation and a bit of fun lift the mood, bring back memories and give everyone something to look forward to.
